History of Sheetal High School, Chautala

THE INSPIRING JOURNEY

Sheetal High School, Chautala, began its humble journey in 1991, founded by Late Shri Sitaram Sir (Sant Shri Sheetal Nath Ji Maharaj). With a vision to educate the children of Chautala, the school started as a Hindi medium institution named M.P. Public School (Maharana Pratap Public School). It began with just two students and one classroom, a testament to Shri Sitaram Sir’s unwavering dedication despite limited resources and facilities.

Running the school in those early days was challenging, but Shri Sitaram Sir's love for children and commitment to their future kept him going. He believed that education and strong values (शिक्षा और संस्कार) were the only ways to empower children. His dream was for the children of Chautala to become highly educated and successful, envisioning them as IAS/IPS officers and leaders of tomorrow.

Shri Sitaram Sir spent most of his time with students, nurturing them with care and guidance. His influence was so profound that even today, his former students regard him as their idol. Many of these students have gone on to achieve remarkable success, now residing in over 25 countries, including the USA, China, Germany, France, UK, and Australia. They have excelled as pilots, software engineers, nuclear scientists, researchers, doctors, IITians, civil servants, and Union Ministry officials, proudly contributing to their communities and the nation.

In 2011, the school expanded to include English medium classes up to the 3rd grade. Today, Sheetal High School is a thriving institution with over 750 students, a team of 40+ dedicated teachers, and classes offered in both Hindi and English mediums from Pre-Nursery to 10th Grade.

From its modest beginnings, the school has grown into a beacon of education, producing generations of well-rounded individuals who carry forward the legacy of शिक्षा और संस्कार while making their mark on the world.
